Cancellation & Refund Policy
At Silk & Circus we try to make our cancellation policy as fair as possible for our students and instructors. All classes have limited spaces so please be considerate if you need to cancel any classes, do it as early as possible to open up your space to other students.
Casual Classes can be cancelled up to 24 hours prior to class commencing and must be cancelled within our booking system. If a casual class is cancelled 24hrs or less, the class fee is non-refundable, and will be paid as if you had attended.
Casual Class Packs are valid for 3 months or the duration of the term from the booking of your first class. The class pack can only be used by the purchaser. Any classes not used by the valid date will be forfeited. We do not offer refunds or class extensions.
Term Passes are valid for the duration of the term. There are no refunds or credits for missed classes or if a Term Pass is canceled 7 days or less prior to term commencing, nor if the student leaves Silk & Circus at any point during the term. We offer a 50% refund if you canceled 14 days or less before term commencing. We do not offer make up class for missed classes. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer refunds or credits because of lock-down, isolation or restrictions due to Covid-19, however, should you be experiencing significant financial hardship please let us know.
Workshop payment and cancellation policies may vary depending on the event, please check these when making a booking.
Courses are to be paid in full in order to reserve your space. In the unfortunate event that you require to cancel, cancellation must be made 3 days (72hrs) prior to the course commencing date otherwise it is non refundable. Students are to comprehend fully the commitment required for a 6 weeks course prior to signing up. If you are unable to attend a class within your course, Silk & Circus does not offer any refunds, transfer or make up classes. In exceptional cases we will however at the management’s discretion transfer or defer classes. Unfortunately, having these options results in a lot of additional booking management, and we simply cannot guarantee there will be availability in a same level course.
Private Lessons must be cancelled 48 hours in advance otherwise payment is non-refundable.
Merchandise and apparel purchases are final sale. Items may be tried on in one of our dressing rooms before purchase.
Late Arrivals. Please arrive 10m before all classes. No students will be admitted if they are more than 15m late (we cannot refund or credit you in this event).
Cancellation Due to Low Registration. Any classes with less than 3 students may be canceled. The studio may choose to run a class with fewer people registered, at the management’s discretion, or we may try to merge classes or provide alternatives to the students who are registered before cancelling (if the studio cancels a class that you are registered for, your credit will revert to your account, even if the cancellation occurs within the late cancel window).
To avoid disappointment, try not to wait until the day of the class to register.
We understand that life can sometimes get in the way of class and cancellation can be unavoidable. If your circumstances change please contact us as soon as possible.
